It’s hard to understand that anyone in power would choose money over safety, yet that is exactly what is happening. If republicans wanted to safeguard our children, they could do so right now. They made their choice, too bad about some kid that gets killed. No worries, my constituents love me.

I'll go further: Dead children is the cost of our lax gun laws, and it is a cost Republicans are willing to pay. And why are they willing to pay this cost? Because it increases gun industry profits. There is no other reason. Reasonable gun laws could end the bloodshed while maintaining gun rights.
