My point there is that Murdoch has less than 8%. Yes, he can influence the board, but he didn't sell 20th century Fox to Disney as part of a ploy to take over Disney itself. I doubt this particular deal is Murdoch-related. The guy is 93 years old and has bigger issues in his life.
Not arguing that just pointing out that most activist investors have less than 10%. Closer to the 5% level Comparing to vanguard is irrelevant
