There's something worth exploring in the layers of invisibility here. Absolutely invisible workers behind the theft and codifying of AI, opportunists erasing their own identity to mimic perceived 'Western' cultural identities and a core audience abandoning their own agency and history to indulge
fantasies of history which appeal as affirmation, commodity or whatever else. There's no one here that capitalism and AI isn't dehumanising. And that's before you even look at the erasure of actual Holocaust victims who become little more than useful prompts. Same with the nationalist AI slop.
Not exclusively a Meta issue obviously but still having business account on there - they are the biggest profiteers off of this stuff. To the point where Facebook has no positive reason to exist any more, beyond profit, if you call that positive.
