The difficulty to even get to $100k is immense, and ask any parent of multiple kids, that’s not a lot of money to live on. How do the rich keep us poor? label income levels like $100k as upper middle class to keep our eyes off their levels of income. It would make you cringe to see what they make.
Thank you. Where I live a $100k income as a single person would force you to be a lifelong renter. Saving a downpayment for a modest apartment would never be possible, not anymore.
