So the turtles are fine. They look better than the bumpy skinned ones, but the lack of ankle tilt really negates a lot of their articulation. But Splinter is awesome. He has ankle tilt, can actually be in some great poses. They set is fine, but overhyped. Happy they weren’t expensive.
I'm really hoping splinter and shredder get individual releases in the future. I got the bumpy skin turtles and don't feel the need to replace them.
Maybe shredder and splinter will have bumpy skin too.
I am intrigued by boil edition shredder.
I’m just happy they fixed Leo and Donnie’s faces, and also Donnie’s color.
I almost pulled the trigger on them, but the ankles and that Shredder were enough to get me to put them back. Even if the price is still pretty good for 5 figures.
