I will grant that they need replacement because they're navel-gazing petty-minded NY state politicos who forget that the other 49 states and the rest of NY state outside NYC exist, but that does not mean that acting like they're the sole two Dem politicians in the country is realistic or fair.
1/ Let me be clear. We don't need to INTERNALLY focus on Pritzker because he is Not Just Posting™. And neither did (for example) Senator Van Hollen. He did not Just Post™. These two guys are getting the attention of the Right and exposing how horrific they are EFFECTIVELY and UNAPOLOGETICLLY.

3/ We need to constantly, INTERNALLY push for these HIGHEST OFFICE people to resign because they cannot meet the moment where the focus of Dems is not necessarily confirming 200 people overnight, or Wal-marty bipartisanship, but making people aware that electing nazis is BAD IDEA.
4/fin There seems to be a lot of rectionary Don't Just Post™ scolding going on in Dem circles now because on ground level that is literally all some people can do. These two people are HIGHEST OFFICE Dems and they are just flat out handicapping the rest of the party meeting the moment.
They're really not, though. How is what they do stopping Newsom from his redistricting or Pritzker and the Mayor of Chicago from taking concrete steps? These two New York idiots are not the entire Democratic Party and I'm tired of Blue staters pretending the entire USA begins and ends where NYC does
Dear, it is NOT just about New York. They are not the House Speaker of New York. They are not the Senate Leader of New York. They are the NATIONAL House Rep and Senate minority eaders. If you don't want New York reps to NATIONALLY represent a party, go tell them to resign their offices.

It is not, in fact, too generic a criticism. They care more about the election of a Mayor of New York City than the threats to send in soldiers to occupy that city, or the threats to target the entire state as a blue state. That is a myopia that should see New Yorkers blacklisted from high places.
Oh in that sense I agree, but as not-a NYer Jeffries does not strike me as "more concerned" about NY Mayor. He doesn't strike me as concerned about *anything at all*. In every interview he has well-prepared focus group answers and never rises to criticize, example, Johnson being horrific.
We literally have Pritzker out there going harder than Newsom, without the baggage or Pikachu-facing that Trump was serious about his threats and being caught flat-footed. The Mayor of Chicago's standing up for his city, too. We could amplify those voices *and* go after Schumer and Jeffries.
Choosing to amplify the elements of criticism without giving a spotlight to the people who aren't screwing it up is an avoidable mistake. Right now Pritzker is the model everyone else should follow for good, Polis and Whitmer are the models of what they should not do.
