Israel does nothing to Palestinians that the Arab world didn't do to 64% of Israel's Jewish population when they expelled it, that it doesn't continue to do to Kurds, Black Africans, or religious minorities. Nobody ever demands Iraqis, Egyptians, Sudanese, or Lebanese not kill people for fun.
What a garbage morality. Arab countries (not palestinians!) expelled jews so now jewish israelis should get a free pass to do it to others. Other countries kill innocents, so why shouldn’t israel? I’ll be brave and call for a US arms embargo on all countries that commit war crimes. How about you?
The fact is that we aren’t actively complicit in arming and using every ounce of soft power to grant diplomatic immunity to those committing war crimes in iraq/syria/sudan/etc. but we are in israel. Israel deserves uniquely attention precisely because we uniquely break our Leahy laws for them
Oh, so in other words it's not about human rights or the idea that countries should be civilized and not using the Genghis Khan approach to social problems, it's about 'US arms' except when the USA had ground troops in a country it let burn and die for Obama's Iran deal and got nothing in return.
Explain to me if 'US arms' are really the deal where all this we've seen since October 2023 was in the Obama era when the USA was fighting the Syrian Civil War in a way that was genocidal and enabling genocide. Why was that different?
I would say that you're a lying piece of shit given how people ignored the USA having boots on the ground and forward air observers literally fighting a Syrian war and watching Russia halve the country's population without a single street shut down in protest.
If someone told Iraqis and Syrians and Lebanese and Sudanese 'sit down and stop doing genocide for a national sport' they'd sit in the bloodsoaked ashes they made holding the dripping skulls of their victims bewailing evil bigotry. Laws expected to be adhered to by but one country are not laws.
In fact, noting this and making those demands becomes 'bigotry' in the eyes of a certain crowd who are very firm to insist that calling out genocidal thuggery by over-medaled General XYZ is much worse than the genocidal thuggery.
