I hate T* & it'd be great if he'd increase direct sanctions on Russia. But imposing tariffs on🇺🇸imports from🇷🇺would be an empty gesture. Those imports are negligible. The secondary sanctions are the only way🇺🇸tariffs can hurt🇷🇺. The best way🇪🇺can hurt🇷🇺is ending the purchase of🇷🇺n hydrocarbons.

It would be negligible. The US isn't trading with Russia for the most part. I don't expect any meaningful action from the Trump administration against Russia no matter what Putin does. :/
