Okay. I guess we are doing this song and dance again. People under 35 ARE SHOWING UP. They are organizing the long haul protests against ICE and pro-Palestine. They are organizing, giving to mutual aid. They are going to State houses and testify for queer and trans rights.
No, they aren't showing up to the 1 day marches because they are doing CONTINUOUS WORK. I slowed my roll on going to 1 day protests, but I am part of leadership for a poetry collective that focuses on outreach, representation, & mutual aid. I am a guest educator who works in at-risk communities.
My point is, we are doing work that isn't seen by media. Its via education, social media info sharing, ect. Younger people are still doing the work and guess what? They ARE the leaders, and a lot of old school resisters can learn from them too. We can learn from EACH OTHER
