He's been driven by a deep shame his entire life, after his awful parents treated him like "a loser" ... he never got past that. Shame is one of the key drivers of narcissism.

Personally, I think we need to be discussing more of the realities of why he is the way he is to teach the lessons he is unwilling to learn as he destroys the USA. He is a massive lesson of karma that we must all learn, to not repeat bringing people to us like this.
