This was a lesson I had to learn far slower and over more years than I'd like to admit. It took me awhile to realize a lot of guys (and white people) sure don't like any criticism whatsoever,

but then aren't willing to take a single step toward listening to anyone marginalized or taking any steps to push back against, challenge, or change the systems and behaviors being criticized.
