I honestly struggle with this a lot. It's gotten better with time, but even now I fall into the trap of erroneously wondering how men can bat for a system (patriarchy) that doesn't offer them any privilege of material benefit,

then I consider I'm nonbinary, I've always felt othered from the man and boy script that never served me, so perhaps my bias is being somewhat bind to privilege that was never offered to me to begin with.
