I second that recommendation. The Pitt is a rarity in television, it's about professionalism and commitment, and compassion for others. It got a lot of buzz from real ER doctors saying how realistic it was. It's a TV show, sure, but celebrates the hard work and competence of medical pros.
For me, easily the best new show from the last couple years.

I saw so many people talking about it on here and finally gave it a shot last weekend. I was hooked instantly & then roped my husband into it. I can see what everyone was saying..it is really good & each episode leaves you hooked, wanting to dive right into the next.

I don't know about the ER; the show indicates it's training. Who they follow on the show are mostly students. What I do know is that I thought it was a good show. Just my opinion. Much better than the new sex and the city or what ever its called that was talked about on the Afterparty podcast.
