I find most people on here are insufferable- they are like the cool kids at school who sneered at you. Though in this case it’s virtuous rather than coolness. I just welcome the break from Twitter & because some people I care about abandoned Twitter completely

The virtuousness, especially from some of the further left communities, is off the charts

Isn't virtue a good thing though?

Virtue doesn’t always translate as good if it’s used to bully/mock/abuse/scorn/promote division It’s also in the eye of the beholder - someone’s virtue maybe radically different to yours.

Ok, so you're talking about bullying people who are perceived as unvirtuous, which is a very different thing from virtue in itself.

Disagree. Virtue is often used as a justification even if the ‘virtue’ is fake or not actually virtue

But that's not in disagreement with me. Yes, people sometimes use virtue as a justification for things that aren't actually virtue. That's entirely consistent with what I said. Virtue itself is good, but what people call virtue often isn't.

I have no idea who you are but if it helps I will sneer at you because I'm cooler than you.

Your sneer has been added to the queue. And I will be offended once I’ve worked though the backlog
