Incels prove the theory of straight men being homoerotic every day. I wish kids could see these guys pushing this bs are just grifters keeping them miserable - they keep paying them to rub their back & blame women for all their problems rather than simply being accountable & bettering themselves.
What I never understood is the complaint about "The Male Loneliness Epidemic" yet plenty of younger guys are still finding women and dating. You'd think there would be a self reflection moment but instead they retreat into an echo chamber
And the bar is SO LOW. The grifters make it sound like you have to be over 6ft and rich, but literally, if you shower every day and are genuinely nice/have empathy, you’re in! Bonus points for actually understanding what a partnership is, not just during sex, but in life, parenting, sickness, etc.
Self reflection does not come naturally to most humans. It needs to be taught and reinforced, but you can not teach what you do not know.

Yes, The glorification of toxic masculinity and sexual violence is now prime entertainment.

I'm afraid to watch this one.
I was sort of thinking the same thing..
I didn't think I wanted to see it either, but decided to try one episode and couldn't stop watching. Extremely well done with great acting by everyone.
I heard it's phenomenal. I'm just too depressed right now to take on something so dark.
This was an amazing series. Parents should watch this to see how social media and the right are corrupting our children with this incel crap from Andrew Tate. That young actor was amazing.
His first role and acting debut. Third episode was f’ing brilliant.
Agreed.
Been seeing a lot about this.. sounds good I love shows/movies that capture real life situations & experiences. Sounds like an eye opener
The manosphere isn't just shaping young minds—it’s shaping politics. Revisiting our WIRED piece on how this same online ecosystem helped fuel Trump’s 2024 victory.
2/2 Putin, Bannon, Mercer, etc., funded troll farms to worm their way into the minds of low information voters. Hell, Elon didn't just start a troll farm, he bought the whole fucking platform. Can someone please activate and energize the young women?
If you count this as the finish line, then sure.
Nope

The manosphere: a bunch of closeted gay dudes confused about their feelings. I said what I said.
they sure seem heavily invested in what goes on in everyone else's bedroom, so i just assume their's is dead and lifeless. but that's none of my business 🍵🍵🍵
I think it’s a bunch of young men who can’t get laid because women don’t go for that stuff.
Ok, I'll bite... I seebit as a dangerous subculture, targeting weak and cruel men, and worse, boys, with a philosophy that blames specific women for not wanting to have sex with them, and vilify those women to the point of feeling not only justified but obligated to harm them
Sounds about right. I am of a similar mind, but my take is that capitalism is such a soul crushing system, that it isolates and breaks people to the point, that some see salvation at the hands of a car salesman. I think you, me, and every man… we are all one bad day away from becoming an asshole.
Maybe
Social cultism !!+
I’ve watched it and I still can’t believe how emotionally raw it is

Parents, talk to your children. Every day. Ask them about their thoughts. Dont let them not answer you. Don't have to shame them for their wayward thoughts, just redirect them. Every day.
Misogyny is such a sad thing. It's alwahs existed and the abuse on women had always been tragic
Surveys if young men have borne out the success of the luring.
Jim Jones had no trouble getting followers to join him in Guyana and then commit suicide. In the 70s, my ex met some Moonies recruiting by inviting folks to a free spaghetti dinner and talk. He was enthralled. The next step was to attend a weekend retreat f which we couldnt leave to feed our dog.
I’m still shook by this series. It hit so hard. I balled at the end of the last episode.
