If it isn't too personal, are your back issues from an injury or arthritis? I have my own issues from severe arthritis. I've been through quite a bit with my spine so will help a friend if I can. I'm glad to see you made your move. Sorry it had to be done but you are closer to care.
Hi! I miss you guys and neglected to tell anyone I was leaving. I have had back issues for many years. Even though I had movers it was all just too much for my spine. Looking a L 2,3 this time as my Right leg stopped working. So glad that the ER is only .2 of a mile from mri is Friday.
Sorry you are going through that pain. There are several procedures available to relieve pain these days. Thankfully!! With little intrusion, they can remove a disc, too. I have been thru that and more. My brother, Chuck, one sister, and a friend of a friend. We share info to help each other.
I've been avoiding things like fusing or having any metal put in my spine. Lot of PT. Doctor I had in ER was surprised if never had a shot in my back. I think they we too busy using cortisone in my knee, shoulder and hip. I'll find out more soon. Finally got my TV hooked up this morning.
I've avoided fusing so far, also. Cortisone will be regulated to not overwhelm and turn off your glands production of it's own adrenaline. But, it has been very affective at reducing inflammation of the nerves. Chuck had one shot 6 months ago and has done very well since! Me, too.
Yep.
Half the time I can't figure out where my post has gone!
This is so different. I cannot figure it all out yet. The comments are subject to a limit if characters. I am going to vibe my cell # to Connie and if you feel comfortable chatting we can do it through text messaging. Just text me back and I can then add to contacts then text.
I need your phone number first. Maybe talk later because someone is coming over for lunch.
Yesterday I was very anxious. Constant pain changes a person. I think you may understand that. I get anxious. Mnging meds, trying to keep my mobility, accepting my condition and working through it. If I can answer a question, please feel free to text me. We are all different, but I can relate exper.
I've found that ashwaganda works wonderful. Use for 2 months and take a month break. Rinse and repeat
Thank you, I'll Iook that up! One thing I have is Spondylolisthesis. I'll letyou look it up. 😁 I have had 7 Radio Frequency Neuro Ablations. In short, they severe the nerves bringing your pain. Nerves will grow back. I do not know what I would have done without them. I was very bad.
I have spondy too. And stenosis and DDD, no 5th disc, calcium deposits and scoliosis
We are in the same club! Isn't it a joy! NOT. Well, I hope that we may help each other in the days, weeks, months, years to come, in some way. Considering what you have, l am, also, surprised you have not had an epidural steroid injection. I am sorry. It is not a nice condition.
Great I do better with text than speaking on the phone. Just text me when you get time. I'll explain what I have learned.
