Hugs to you too, Judith! Howโs things in Thailand, Btw? I was there in 2019, and wow! The driving is something that you canโt really describe.. you have to experience it. ๐ I was also impressed about the food variety, etc.

politically mellow for now more amazing foods lol beaches get better every visit I'm overbooked with classes NEVER look forward while riding - always look to the side lol I don't /won't drive here - I am spoiled with good drivers everywhere - where did you visit in Thailand? so cool big hugz ๐
I honestly canโt remember the areas name. Iโll need to look it up. I traveled around a little bit while I was there. I still have friends there that I worked with previously in the islands. Iโm glad that youโre having such a great time there. ๐
thanks - I came the first time for biz in 1997 - love SE Asia I moved here in 2008 - it wasn't easy at first and I had many friends in different provinces, but I let go and things are continuously amazing - you never know what's around the next corner??? doors are open! big hugz ๐
Thatโs awesome! Iโm glad that youโve seemingly made it your home. Japan is home for the time being, and the current state of the U.S. has solidified that even more. Health care here is great as well! Take care of yourself and talk soon. ๐ซ
Yeah. Donโt come back now. I was going to ask you how hard it is to move to Japanโฆ
Haha. I had no plans to come back actually other then to visit, but Iโm not planning on visiting at all now that the ๐ ๐คก is in power. If youโre a professional of some sort, itโs much easier. Or you could be lucky like me and come at a time when the U.S. was a friendly country to Japan. ๐
Damn. Japan would be high on my list. I hear they hand out hot tubs full of monkeys at the airport.
๐ ๐ ๐ Well, substitute good service for the tub of monkeys and your on point. ๐
Also, Did you read my write up about the expo?
And nicely done โฆ
Thank you my brother. I rarely write things like this, but I wanted to share my thoughts of my experience, in a digestible way for random people to be able to read. I might do more in the future, just to get my thoughts out thereโฆOn very rare occasions..
I was keeping an eye out but did not see it. I will go look on your feed. I was going to bring it up but didnโt want to rush you
health care here is amazing too - cheap and instant - no waiting for anything - why can't we do this in the usa? Japan is awesome - good for you
Really wish we had that in Alabama
Thatโs the magic question, Judith! Itโs not something their donors will allow apparently. ๐คท๐พโโ๏ธ Iโm not trying to potentially mortgage my house for some surgery. In Japan itโs a simple 30% co-pay on most things. And the pricing is much more reasonable to start for great care.
Thailand: Me-injured, 2 leg surgeries, casts, weekly visits, wheelchair, crutches, physical therapy, all 1+1/2years total in & out of the hospital complete total cost: about $1500 - paid cash as i went... SO easy and kind - and instant - the moment I arrived, I was helped - wow
