I got into a couple of episodes of Jodie Whitaker's Doctor and felt the same way. And now you tell me it's not on HBO Max Discovery Plus whatever they call it now. 😐 Same thing happened on BritBox w/ Blake's 7. I had just gotten into the second season and pop.
