also if people aren't bothered about / don't believe them being fascists, i'm not sure calling them domestic abusers will be much different. they won't believe they are that either.

I actually think people like him know this. At this point, they want a little fascism because it will help protect their money. With capitalism starting to eat itself, it needs either destruction (war) or wealth distribution to kick start it again. And #theguardian is happy to platform them.
