I think the idea being presented is that by using some of these terms it makes one seem like an ivory tower dilettante. The voters who are going to decide the 2026 and 2028 elections are for the most part blue collar middle class. Speak to them using words they don’t have to look up in a dictionary.
The idea is pander to cis hetero white men, like Tom. Who blocked me because I called him a dilettante 🤣
I think he was probably more annoyed about the STFU than being called a dilettante.
Okay, so he’s a jerk. But let’s not lose track of the overall goals - to prevent a MAGA getting elected president in 2028 and the GOP from keeping control of Congress next year. Good candidates needed who have more than just niche appeal.
That doesn't require anyone to completely stop using any of those words. That's just nonsense.
