Their creativity is off the charts. But I can think of many candidates, people who would make effective office holders, who would look foolish doing this (and I can see the eye rolls and cries of "cringe" if they tried.) The key thing is matching the comms strategy with the candidate.

Exactly! Playing to their strengths and authenticity goes so much further. Tim Walz is a great example to me. Didn’t really know the guy before that but he was enjoyable to watch and listen to.

Right, it’s not a question of diluting the message or changing their positions (as someone was suggesting) but rather putting them in a space where they are comfortable. Claims that a candidate seems “inauthentic” crop up when they are asked to play a role that seems out of character.
