The problem for them is that the white man has basically dominated the world for some time and now that time is over they feel threatened. Their security is bound up with them being on top of others. Their self image and esteem is based around feeling better than non whites.

True story because they've never gained any knowledge, education, skills or critical thinking to be better than just shallow skin deep. And our collective hubris has encouraged that for our entire history. White man good, all others less good. We've paid trillions to keep their pathetic ignorance.

Im a white person myself but recognise the problem. The problem is that many dont do anything to contribute to the world but still think they are a cut above based on their colour, beliefs, etc. All things that require no effort to feel good about. My 'own kind' made my childhood hell.

Exactly. Our collective hubris. The U.S. is #1 cuz we're white! Forget about all the true effort we used to make - we allowed the message to be that we are #1 cuz we're white. Never educating ourselves on the reality that we'd never have gotten here without everyone else - all over the world.

I didn't learn nearly enough about it until I left the U.S. and had other nations, other people teach me that the U.S. was a powerful bully relying on being oppressive. A little more humility at home, a great deal more education would have helped those poor scared yt people learn better skills.
