I read these resignations with both great sadness and great anger. Sadness at the end of an era where the CDC was a world leader in scientific research saving millions of lives. And such raw anger that these idiots with zero medical backgrounds forced scientists out. Such a travesty.

The fact that all of this has happened in only 7 months scares me to think about the future. If we can oust a want to be dictator in 3.5 years Im still not sure our country will ever recover.

I understand and share your concern but remember a group of dedicated people can begin repairing the damage on day 1 and fundamentally rebuild our federal government to truly work for the general welfare of We The People. Remember Roosevelt did a hell of a lot of building in the first 100 days! 🤗✊🏼

Yes 🙌🏼 you’re so right: FDR was the antithesis of the current orange offalous blob in every way. Which is why he was loved by the many people whose lives he saved and changed for the better and why he is regarded as one of America’s greatest Presidents ever.
