IMHO Project 2025 says differently. Trump was just the spearhead for the fascists backing him.

I think you’re in the right direction with this thought. 2025 hides behind him and is creating layers of law and policy that cannot be easily undone when Trump is gone. Trump himself is the distraction and likely doesn’t realize it.
