Certainly looks like that. I still remember all the vinyl fans rhapsodising about the Mobile Fidelity Abraxas being the pinnacle of all analogue mastering before it was revealed to have been sourced from a DSD master tape.

Which was an absolute dogshit mastering itself. The worst I've ever heard that album sounding.
