There should not be any more republicans. Expanded Medicaid helps people who are already struggling. People who lacked healthcare and were sick and dying. To take it away... wow. This action alone should be enough to end republicans. Among so many other things.

I live in North Carolina. I'll definitely vote for him. He got a lot of things done as governor despite facing relentless obstacles from republicans in office. He can definitely make a difference in Washington
Yes, repugnicans had a supermajority in our state house/senate during much of Cooper's tenure. They could override his vetoes with glee. He was still able to get some things done and stopped some bs from happening. It was a battle EVERY day. He didn't give up. I admire his strength.
They also consistently stripped power from him. He did the best he could with the cards he was dealt. Hard to fight a legislature that gerrymanders itself into power then systematically strips your authority.

What people don't understand is once Medicaid is gone, Health/Mental Clinics, Nursing Homes, and small hospitals will shut down. Some may lose their jobs, may have to take in those in Nursing Homes and care for them. Travel miles for care.

There’s plenty of better people in the senate & house to be minority leaders. The parliamentary procedures are bizarre as to who rises to leadership positions. But there are still a lot of good voices. The country needs to see more wins in midterms first to really flip congress the way you want.
