Of course I reviewed the primary source material! How else would I know whether something’s true or not? It was right there in his podcast, with (of all bloody people) Charlie Kirk. I agree with Newsom on a number of things, but I do feel he was cowardly and appeasing Kirk on the trans issue.

Again, of course I did. He didn’t at any point say “I hate trans people” or similar, but I feel he did somewhat capitulate on a matter that he should’ve been very clear on. I’m not saying he’s the devil - he does some good things - but I wish he’d been more firm in the direction of trans rights. 🙂
