Hamas admitted to hiding their paramilitary infrastructure in civilian buildings, including rocket launch sites. Proportionality only demands that the loss of those buildings should be less valuable than the military advantage gained. Rockets aimed at Israeli civilians easily meet that threshold.

Meant to add…it’s not even open for debate. Hamas admits it, and 70+ years of documentation proves it. However one thinks about the current situation there (which is appalling) it is absolutely true that Hamas has built all its weapons of war and tunnels under civvy structures.
