New Mexico needs resources to fight gun violence, not federal agents with paintbrushes making Trump’s wall “hotter.” The contrast shows how unserious Washington is about protecting lives. While families bury loved ones, the feds are more focused on cosmetic stunts at the border.
The term “assault weapon” is performative bullshit and must be eliminated before any serious discussion about gun control can happen. Oh, and stats show that the majority of gun violence happens with handguns not rifles.
