Why aren’t men—especially fathers—doing more to stop sexual assault? Why not confront rage and violence within their own gender? Why aren’t they taking responsibility for educating boys about these harmful behaviors and ensuring they get help, including therapy, when needed?
I worked with a dad -- father of two -- whose wife had just walked away one day. He ended up moving in with a single mother of two, because the two roles were more than he could handle alone. Eventually they also moved in her mother, her sister, and a niece. Plenty of parent figures.
