And now I know what movie I’m closing the night out with 🍿
glad to serve; report back!
That was fun! And yes, I teared up for Country Road. It was a sweet movie, with a cool heist, and a favorable ending. I do think they cleaned up Boone County much more than it really is irl tho 😅
I loved this movie
Like every third year we get a surprise amazing movie in August
I’d never heard of it until the post just before yours on my timeline, so I guess I’m way outta the loop and have homework to do.
watch it for homework and report back - so good!
A very fun heist film and great casting. Was reading theories on the ending online, but didn’t see my theory about what happens after the final scene.
the open-endedness is part of how it emphasizes, along with returning the majority of the money, that it ain't about the money nor the innocence - but the teamwork muscle excercise
I mean, I myself wouldn’t do that, but as her character? Absolutely.
I get that, but there were theories about what the agent’s arrival at the end signifies, how a sequel would play out, etc. If I were her, frustrated that my job jerks me around & the wronged party are happy with their payout/dropping the case, I’d make friends with the thieves & steal it from them.
that would be good and is indeed more likely than an arrest
Right? It would fit the heist trope that there’s always another conman/ conwoman waiting in the wings.
