We already tax the top 5%. In NYC, the top 1% pays 47% of the tax revenue. And raising taxes is not a mayoral power. Which either Zohran doesn’t know or is counting on his supporters not knowing.

The top 1% also collects a lot more than 47% of the income. Their taxes are too low. A better fix would be a wage ratio, so they can't pay themselves that much shareholder money anyway. Win-win!
My, you’re just marinating in envy & spite, aren’t you? Dude! You’re a realtor. How much do *you* “pay yourself” for a few hours’ work selling a property? How many thousands of dollars? How many hamburgers does the McDonald’s worker have to flip to earn that? See the flaw in your argument yet?
None of you have any idea what I've done, how I work, who I've helped along the way. What you do know is how to attack the avatar of your anger, which you overlay onto anyone who disrupts your group think, intentionally or not. Sometimes I can't pay all my bills, too. Think what you want.
Stipulated. None of us do, including you. My comment was about envy and spite. I will add it’s also about hypocrisy.
Also, I don't pay myself. I negotiate my fee with my clients every time. It's exhausting, and lots of people think I should work for free. Making as many unfounded assumptions as you do is a pretty clear indicator that you're just a weird troll. Bye now.
Again, my point was hypocrisy. You resent what others “pay themselves” yet will negotiate as large a fee as you can, whether your efforts were equal to results and expectations. I’ve bought a house and worked with more than one realtor. They’re not fungible nor equally deserving.
You resent people for saying something you disagree with. I resent people for exploiting other people. See the difference?
I wasn’t talking about “disagreement.” I was addressing your hypocrisy.
lol
That's why our fee is negotiable, Einstein. I'm only responsible for my own fee, and my company gets a cut from my work. Corporate executives are responsible for all salaries in the company. When they overpay themselves, they leave less for the people who do the majority of the work.
You “negotiations” are extortionate. No realtor deserves a percentage of the purchase price, in my view. That’s obvious conflict of interest: the higher selling price, the worse the home buyer gets screwed.
And what the fuck is wrong with a wage ratio? What the fuck are you even accusing me of? Seems like you just want to talk trash about realtors. There are lots of industries I don't like in America. I don't stalk the people who work in them across social media. What a weird thing to do.
Just like doctors have an incentive to keep you sick. I know how the system is built. Look up "fiduciary." My clients consistently pay me, and give me 5-star reviews for a reason. Feel free to think what you want. I'm not "the man," and I'm not your whipping post. Have a great life.
Honestly, thought you were replying to an entirely different comment. Lol Which makes your "envy and spite" comment exceptionally weird. What's spiteful about a wage ratio? What stupid comment! Lol
