Everyone gets a vote in capitalism: choice. We vote with our feet.
Capitalism can be monopolistic. Choice exists in regulated competition. That means antitrust laws, which the USA has largely abandoned enforcement of for the last forty years-- --because capital in practice subverted the state itself.
Agreed, but Communism is always monopolistic by law. I would argue all monopolies are bad, all monopolies kill people. Whether private or public, corporate or Communist, a monopoly is unchecked power in action.
