I've asked union members, who replied that we need to build up sizeable strike funds to support striking workers. And, upon my own analysis I decided we also need a network of safe houses to protect strikers when the feds send our troops in to force them to work.
I’m in so most of my friends who are union members we just need the union leadership to be transparent and let us know. Most of us would be more than happy to help build a safety net.
I get the feeling that too many folks STILL DON'T GET IT! They won't admit we're in over our heads unless and until we take collective action. Every union member should contact their local chapter heads and press them on WHEN THEY WILL ORGANIZE A GENERAL STRIKE. They need to feel the push from below
