I think actual big coats are allowed from 1st October; while padded jackets, anoraks and macs are supposed to be worn this month. I am obvs standing out by still leaving the house in short sleeved dresses.

Indeed. And tbh I'm sure that whatever I wear, I'll be assumed to be a tourist until I die, by anyone who doesn't know me.
