I still don't get why they're doing this. A happy, healthy, prosperous society spends loads of MONEY. What will they gain by doing this. Is it only for control? A power trip?

I just don’t understand why they think they can live graciously and easily without their wage slaves. I guess they are looking ahead and realizing that they will only need a few of us once they get their androids properly online.
