They should all have to spend a week with a pancreatic cancer patient, and then see if they want to support that bill.

??? As though having pancreatic cancer isn't bad enough, that poor patient would have to hang out with one of those people?

damn, good point. still, if I'd been facing this situation when I was undergoing chemo, I would have taken great pleasure in forcing them to live it with me. And BC is way less gnarly (most of the time) than pancreatic. I'd want them to live every torturous, demeaning minute.
