Apologies, friends. IDGAF about kids & phones that disrupt learning, until our country gaf about protecting them & restoring the educational system. My kid got stuck at school for hours in an 'informant gone suicidal' scenario nearby, and, once I knew the details, it was enlightening.
Same. Let kids keep phones in their backpacks but as long as people have out of control access to weapons of war, at least let them have access to call 911! Or to text their parents that they love them in their final minutes. 💔😪
That sounds all nice and flowery, but in reality that means "Candy Crush instead of Math class" for some and cameras in the bathroom for others.
'Nice and flowery' is denial of the history and current legal conditions, gambling on bad odds, pretending a school shooting can't or won't happen to another kid, anyone's kid, and worrying more about potentially incidental photos than reducing the danger of actual bullets flying in the bathroom.
