Trafficking unaccompanied minor children to a country in which they don’t have relatives who have agreed to become their legal guardians is pure evil.

If the parents are in Guatemala and are requesting their return, then fly the parents to the US and have them join in the individual court case to transfer guardianship from the government to the parent. Simple.

Yes! They should also require proof they are the parents. In this day and age, too many predators and we have a rogue government.
