Who is going to stop them though? Genuinely. If they keep winning they’ll eventually get there.
I also think the power brokers metric is a sliding scale. From my vantage point, I see positions of power brokered out to patrons, more who have cultural cache but some with financial cache, and that furthers the consolidation. It depends on where you look and how you define it.
