Yes, 2026. Primaries begin in the summer; general election Nov. 2. 35 Senate seats up. All 435 seats in Congress. And Yes, that's a year away. If only 81 million people had not decided in 2024 that it wasn't worth their time to go vote.

There’s election lawsuits in discovery rn for the 2024 presidential… unlikely to be finished by midterms.. if that was indeed tampered, how do we ensure the 2026 won’t be?

We'll see. But you can only really tamper with elections when they're very close. If Musk did something with the swing states, he had as cover a virtual dead heat in the polls between the two candidates. Exit polls in 2024 were very close to the outcome. 1/

Valid points. Do we still have elections during war? B-2 bombers are expected to arrive in Iran about 6pm EST…

We absolutely have elections during war. Neither the War of 1812 or the Civil War (or WW1, 2, etc) kept that from happening. Martial law will not stop elections (at least per the Constitution).

So flipping an election that came down to a razor-thin margin is always going to be easier. It's hard to tamper your way to a victory when exit polls say you lost by 15%. Also, it's easier to tamper with one election (President) than 470 separate elections, I would think. 2/

I believe the backlash against the GOP will be significant. I think the R's will lose Congressional red seats in a lot of states that are harder to tamper with (NY/CA/IL/AZ). Just those states had 26 red Congress members by my count. 3/
