Huh, I don't recall ever hearing that Cleveland was in the mix, that's interesting. Understandable that they declined, though, as an original AL team. Milwaukee made sense, they'd been an NL city before.
I don't recall that either. I do remember that the Brewers were in the AL Central and the Tigers in the AL East from '94 through '97.
