I remember sharing a flat with Andy Parsons at the Ed Fringe that year. We were all sat in the living room watching the news with our mouths open. Andy wandered out of his bedroom in his dressing gown, stared emotionless at the TV and said glumly, "I suppose that means the rugby's off."
