Nah, no insurance companies are going to underwrite in a state like Florida without any FEMA dollars. All those houses FEMA has rebuilt up to 10 times or more? Next hurricane, they are gone and not coming back. The entire Gulf Coast is gonna be looking pretty sad by Nov this year.

While the federal government can run budget deficits, states are legally required to balance their budgets. This means they must ensure their spending doesn't exceed their revenue for a given fiscal year. The sick part is he wants to play dictator & be the only one who decides who receives Fed $$$
