Spent lots of time in Huntsville in the early 90s - working with companies supporting NASA at the time. What they focused on and space command focused on do not really align at all. This was idiotic posturing form Alabama Senators and the Congressional Reps in the area - UNDERSTANDING NOTHING
30+ year Huntsvillian here. (Yes, I'm wearing shoes and know how to use indoor plumbing.) But It's also a weird fit because this is such a thoroughly Army town. I sure wish we could be known for something homegrown.
