Nice!
Nice!
Peggy Weber is amazing!! Saw Pit & Pendulum recently TY for suggestion, Corman & Price strike again! 😍
Poe was to Corman as Lovecraft was to Gordon. I'm so glad you enjoyed it!
saw Raven the same night, laughed so hard I couldn't get up - Vincent Price, Boris Karloff, Peter Lorre, and of course Jack! the genius doesn't stop!
So true! Not with that line-up!
I remember it. Scared the holy s*** out of me when I was a little kid. We used to watch these terrible B movies locally on Friday nights, presented by "Sammy Terry".
Amazing how these low budget horrors can freak out our impressionable little minds 😆 Saw a really bad werewolf movie as a kid, totally terrified for months
I watched "Forbidden Planet" when I was like 8 and was completely destroyed by it. Just imagine: invisible monsters that tear people limb from limb! Perfectly targeted to childhood fears. Special shout-out also to "The Creeping Flesh" starring Peter Cushing. Yikes!
I had exactly the same reaction to "Forbidden Planet"! It's still an unnerving concept. But I never saw "The Creeping Flesh" and just from the title I'm glad I didn't! I did see one called "The Tingler" and that left me terrified for days!
apparently for Tingler, theaters rigged some seats with buzzers for that extra immersive experience! Creeping Flesh is an awesome film, Peter Cushing & Christopher Lee, great acting & loved the ending.
Omigosh, I so loved Christopher Lee! Can't think how I missed that movie. Yep, I read about the buzz seats when The Tingler was shown. All I know is it scared the holy living crap out of my impressionable young preadolescent self! (I found it again as an adult on a DVD, and it was SO hokey!)
yes the effects on Creeping Flesh are hokey too but the acting is divine 🎭
A great MST3K vehicle also!
Came here to ask, didn't MST3K riff that movie?
Oh yes... A weird mixture of haunting peacock cries, skulls and the main woman who keeps undressing down to her lingeries very often!
Yes! I remember now!
The ultimate moment was when nobody could decide if the skull was there or if they also were imagining it!
#BoomerTV The The Screaming Skull (1958) | Classic Horror Film | Full Movie | Thriller
I remember that. Was there a peacock screaming too.
