Starmer is part of the problem appeasing & enabling it. Cultism should not blind you to that.

He has been. I'm very disappointed in him. But he can - and must - change. This really isn't who he is and he would come across as far more comfortable in his own skin if he simply played to his progressive instincts.

I think he’s been infuriatingly over cautious. But deliberately appeasing and enabling? We’ll be getting the buzzword ‘complicit’ any minute

Starmer has allowed Farage et al to dictate the pace & become further emboldened by Starmers lack of spine to face down Farage, the media etc.

With Mc Sweeney & Glasman pulling strings behind the scenes - Starmer has shown utter disingenuous spinelessness by distancing himself from the Reform-esque cosplaying. So yes, there has been quite open appeasing & enabling. This cannot be disputed by the ever increasing evidence to the fact.
