There are two versions of blanket monster, or sheet monster as it's known at our house. Version one, you are the monster. Your hand or foot is under the blanket moving around. It's a scary monster, Dandy must attack to defend the household!

Version two is popular with cats who like to help change the bed sheets. They jump on the bed to help. You cover the bed with the top sheet. Then the cat is the monster under the sheet. You touch them. They can't see it's you, so they attack your hand.

They scurry around on the bed under the sheet and remind you of a horta. You say, for a creature of such bulk it moves with surprising alacrity.

Dandy sits on the corner of the fitted sheet when I make the bed. She holds the corner in place while I do the other corners.

Of course she does!! 🥰 Is there ANY area in which she is in ANY way deficient? Of all the legs in all the world, she chose yours to climb. Even despite the mad aunties and uncles she brought into your life, you must count your blessings every waking moment 😊

Perfect descriptions of blanky/sheet monster above! Try #1. Put her on the bed and put your hand under the sheet near her. Move it around and poke at her. Prepare to get chomped and kicked 😁

She plays a version of this when she’s in her donut tunnel. If you poke the side of the donut, she attacks where you poke.

Playing it on the bed with the blankie could be a problem for Spike. He would not like to a target whenever he seeks refuge there.
