I actually burned my Neil Gaiman books, because I didn’t want anyone to read the work of a violent rapist.

I remember reading a baby care book (one of the famous ones) that I completely disagreed with and throwing it away afterwards, not wanting to perpetuate the ‘everyone should do this’ message. (I knew that I was completely disagreed before I read it really!)

Weeding is not one of my librarian strengths :) But look, I have put together this whole pile of books for recycling!

And I’ve been adding more to the pile as I go through the ‘reasonable condition’ books that are a bit dogeared, and accept that anyone who isn’t a fan would bin them.
