Right. People don't read past headlines. That's why I cringed when she said that because that was 100% what the media is going to latch onto. She gave Trump a victory by even trying to rationalize this. OK, car jackings going down is a good thing but crime reduction isn't the point of his actions

For sure. She's clearly trying VERY hard to make some lemonade out of this, which isn't really worth it. She's also not Black Republican lvl of problematic though, to me, which is an unfortunate description I'm seeing as an outcome of this.
